What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
People are often confused, frustrated, and overwhelmed after an injury or car accident. During a phone consultation, I am able to answer many of the questions that lead to this newfound anxiety and provide some organization as to the steps that need to be followed after a traumatic event. Often times I notice that just being able to explain the process eases a lot of the anxiety and frustration that potential new clients may have.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
I generally request that if people have a copy of a police report or incident report, that they have that available when they contact me. Aside from having a report, I generally like to know the details of the incident, witness information, and extent of injuries or medical treatment that is sought. Of course, each potential case may have its own variables and information that may be needed.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
I listen to people and I relate to them on a level that makes them feel comfortable with me. I return all of my phone calls promptly, and I always make sure that my clients are well informed and feel at ease that they are in good hands with me. My clients often thank me for the time and effort I give them throughout the representation process. I value a person's time and I treat them as I would like to be treated.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Helping people. Being able to help someone who may be at one of the lowest points in their life and essentially being able to say, "It's going to be alright".
What are your other interests in addition to law?
I am an active person who enjoys and participates in martial arts and various outdoor activities.
Are you involved in your community?
I am an active volunteer for the Thomas House Family Shelter Children's Program. I work with them on a weekly basis helping them with homework, playing sports and games with them, and just being an overall mentor and motivator for a great group of children.
